5 Foolish things you need to do.
1 Corinthians 1:27-29
Have you ever wondered why Christians are divided into many sectors? If we are all following Jesus Christ and acknowledge him as our Lord and Savior, then why all the division?
I believe it all comes down to those that have gone before us and mainly those in leadership. Chances are that when you gave your life to Christ, you were taught how to live as a new child of God, what to believe and what not to believe.
The problem is, you did not know any better and so just believed what you were told then. The good thing is, that you gave your life to Christ and are now born again and a new creature. The bad thing is, you may have been taught the wrong things about your Father (God).
Just like most things in life, people tend to tell you what is possible or not possible based on their own experiences and beliefs. Some times the only way to prove or disprove them is to do research and make your own decisions.
Thank God for who ever led you to the Lord, but never let them and their opinions stand between you and your Father. You can know everything about your Father and what is available to you as His child.
All you need to know is written in the “Manual” – the Word of God. Through the bible, God reveals Himself, His nature, His heart for you and all He desires for you. Do you every really take the time to fellowship with him so you can get to know him, or do you rely on other people’s opinions?
Here are five things that have divided the church that I encourage you to study for yourself from God’s word and find out the truth. To many, these things look to be foolish and that is why they have preached against them. Just because a few preachers may have “miss preached” them doesn’t make them bad. The devil will try to blind fold you to what he knows will benefit you so don’t fall in that trap.
These are 5 things that may seem foolish to most christians, but things you need to do or believe God for in your life.
Find out what God has in store for you concerning:
1. Speaking in tongues.
2. Believing in miracles today
3. Prosperity
4. Confessing the Word
5. Giving (Tithe & Offerings)
